This is a place for general banter to catch up and see how things are going.

Age of Conan is my first MMO. Like alot of ppl i have been in heaps of guilds due to the game losing alot of players and ppl leaving.
On my previous server Bloodspire i was for the longest in Acadians, reason why i know most of the primal fury members from ur merge with Acadians.

8. Why do you wish to join Primal Fury? What about Primal Fury interested you more than the other AOC guilds.
I came with a transfer from Tyranny to Cimmeria because i cant raid at american times and the aussie playerbase there is very spread.
I knew that my old guild mates were raiding here on Cimmeria so i decided to at least transfer one of my raiding toons and join Primal Fury. Atm im still lvling a pvp/raiding character for Cimmeria as well.

Nothing ... not even much about the movie with arnie. Not very important to me because i came to play this came out of other reasons than the lore. I am pretty much a hardcore pvper. I really like the game design but.

PVP. More compatetive. More exciting than pve. Mobs dont require you to know how to move and take everything out of ur class and alow for you to make mistakes. In pvp against a good player u make few mistakes and u lose and pay with your defeat.
... well hard to describe to be honest ... its just the feeling of being better than most which gets me going and loving it.

13. Which of Age of Conan many features excites you the most.
Open pvp ... clobal collision, in the pvp point of few. That AOC is a skillbased game (which sadly changed a bit now)

14. What kind of guild events are you looking forward to participating in?
Raids ... Sieges

15. What internet connection speed do you have? (Dialup, ADSL, Cable)

16. Primal Fury uses Vent for voice communication software and requires that its members have a working microphone. Do you have Vent & a Mic?
Yes ... gotta speed wanna kill hordcore

I should be able to make it to most scheduled things ... i play alot. But sometimes i suddenliy have to work alot even at night.

Baumblut, Amatiel, Alok ... and quiet a few more.

19. What would you bring to Primal Fury if your application was successful.
ME and my pvpzor skillz ... i wanna kill hordcore too ... can hear ppl talking about it in vent ... god i hate hordcore

Hi there all! I used to play with Acadians, but have not been playing since March. I am commonly known as Melon, some may remember me in game, my main is Metalmelon (80 guard), I also have another char Medicmelon (80 tos). I was thinking of coming back to the game when the uni holidays come around (next month maybe... not too sure when exams finish).

I had a quick scout through your forums and it seems the merge between PF and Acadians went ahead? I left the game before all this merge talk started up, but I see some posts from nature and ovan, so it looks all good to me. Would there be a place for me in PF if I come back to the game?

Also, do Anso and Sarthos still play? And, does anyone know when patch 1.5 is due for release?

No, I was an old acadians member over on bloodspire. I have a level 80 conq called Kaari still stuck on the server... Noctum owes me some boots

A small guild called valkyrie when the game first started. We managed to get up a T1 city with only about 8 members, though we slowly found we needed more numbers and split.

Joined Vae Vics shortly after they then merged with Acadians

Acadians, never really left I stopped my AoC account as I had to spend more time playing COD4 for a few gaming comps and the darn training and strats took up all my raiding time! I'm now back to casual COD4 playing so resubbed to conan

I like both side's though have found the most fun in conans PvP system. While im not very good its still good fun.
Don't get me wrong though I still like going on raids after all that shiny loot may help me smash that ranger better... darn rangers

Open world PvP, while im not a ganker I love the randomness of the battles. Except when im out numbered and outgunned lol

Yup I'm back at uni so have bucket loads of time except when I have an assignment due the next day.

I have previous experience playing World of Warcraft and was a member of Apocalypse Wow. I still go on every now and then to talk to them but i left Wow because i wanted to play something bigger and more interesting.

The fact that there are many fellow aussies in here and it's fairly big and sociable so it would suit me. Other guilds operate on American time so i don't get to socialise much with them. And i'm also seeking a guild that can teach me about AoC as i'm fairly new to the game.

I know the basics of it, that it's based on a book series has many movies and other books on it and i have read the lore of the game.

I like both, i enjoy the questing aspect of the game and the instances but i also like the fun of fighting another player on equal terms.

Is there any other information about yourself that you think is important to the application and you would like to share with us?I'm more mature than people think so if i'm going to get the " ewww a kid" response then i would be better off not joining, otherwise i'm eager to get into this guild to socialise with fellow aussies as well as others and not be over pressured with online commitments (i'm not saying i wouldn't try to partcipate at all) and have fun and experience this game in all it's greatness. I also have a 25 sin on the same server and would like to move it to Primal fury if this character gets in.

Not much. I watched the movies as a kid and enjoyed them, despite the ham-fisted acting. I did read a book called Cormak mac Art about the brother of Conan that I found in a second hand bookstore, but I've not read anything else.

Age of Conan grabbed me initially because it looked stunning, but after trying a character on Bloodspire and getting ganked for the 50th time, the gloss faded. So I rerolled on the PVP RP Cimmeria server about 8 months ago and just loved it. I've taken a 6 month break from the game, but am back now and I need company in my timezone. I'm just too old to put up with the ganking anymore and would rather be with people of a similar mindset. I enjoy PvP, but only if it's done with a premise of cause. If it's purposeless for either character then it erodes your reason for being there. Everything is undermined. If it's within the context of the character, environment, race and story however, PvP is very exciting.

Raids, largely because I've never done one and really, really want to try.

I'm a teacher and I've got a family which includes a 5 year old boy. He's usually in bed by 8pm, so that sounds feasible.

Well Primal Fury has come along way since the days of pre launch, its seen its great and its seen its bad times, but were still here and were in force!

This is a complete new website and has the following available to all members.

Forums: Yep new forums, we had to start fresh as the website is designed to work alongside the new forums and a lot of the old processes have been automized :tooth:

Guild roster: as it sounds, lists all our members.

Rapid Raid: This is the new DKP system, through this link you will be able to see DKP lists, Item drop history, upcoming raids, previous raids etc.

Calendar: This will be the new raid calendar, this is where you sign up for raids and see upcomming raids.

Gallery: Feel free to upload pictures here that you can link to the forum boards or check out pictures posted by other members. You can also upload and download files from here (500Mg limit on this atm)

Game Tools: class builds and calculators... go crazy guys

Old Forums: This is a link to the old forums, its here for historical value, please post new posts and forums into the new forums, want to discuss an old topic? Post it in the new forums and lets get some fresh discussion going.

RaidDKP: The current DKP system, were going to be running this side by side the new system for a few weeks until we have everyone signed up on the new system. (Soon to be deleted)

Raid Calendar: The current raid calendar, once again were going to slowly phase this out and use the built in calendar that works with the new website. (Soon to be deleted)
